He was born in 1948 in Syria.
He is a citizen of Turkish Republic. He was graduated from Fine Arts Decorative Painting Department in 1974 and worked on photography, painting and cartoon. He has focused on drawing cartoon professionally since 1989. He had been one of the directors of the Association of Cartoonists for many years. Following the establishment of Cartoon Publications in 1991, he has been supporting the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, Tema Foundation, Green Steps Education Association, etc. with his works since then. Nowadays, he has been sharing the management of the Publication with Birsen Koroglu.
He has exhibited his works with “Now it's time for environment” and “Now it's time to love” slogans in several countries, such as, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Macedonia and several cities in Turkey. He has also been exhibiting his works as postcards, posters and book forms within Cartoon Publications for the people interested in. Beside his exhibitions,he has held several conferences in several high schools and universities.
He also won many awards from both national and international cartoon contests.
