جائزة مسابقة سورية للكاريكاتور!

بدا الأمر في البداية محاطاً بالدهشة للبعض، وبوابة للأمل بالنسبة للبعض الآخر، عندما طرح موضوع جائزة سورية للكاريكاتور، تكون نتيجة مسابقة يشترك فيها رسامو الكاريكاتور من أنحاء العالم، حول الموضوعات التي تشغل بالهم، وتمثل بعضاً من همومهم التي هي هموم العالم وإنسانه المعاصر.

بعد الدهشة والأمل ، بدأت الخطوات العملية في تحديد شروط المسابقة وجوائزها ولجنة التحكيم، ثم انطلقت العملية، التي فاجأتنا بنتائجها: أكثر من 1340 من أعمال رسامي الكاريكاتور من العرب والأجانب موزعين على نحو 49 بلدا ً، بينهم عدد من الرسامين السوريين الذين كانوا حاضرين في خلفية المشروع.

بين الأعمال لوحات كثيرة تستحق جائزة أولى سواء في الموضوع الرئيس للمسابقة أو في الموضوعات الأخرى، ولهذا كانت لجنة التحكيم أمام اختبار صعب للوصول بالجوائز إلى أصحابها الذين يستحقون، وقد حاولت بأقصى قدر من الموضوعية والنزاهة، لأنها كانت على ذات المسافة من المبدعين الذين قرروا الاشتراك في هذه المسابقة.

لقد خطونا بجدية نحو المبدعين من رسامي الكاريكاتور، وكان للمبدعين السوريين حظ خاص في هذا من خلال إقامة المعرض الذي يضم الأعمال المشاركة في المسابقة والفائزة بجوائزها، والتي يتضمنها كتاب المسابقة.

بوابة جديدة لفن الكاريكاتور نفتحها في سورية على أمل أن تتجدد في الأعوام التالية وتعزز مشاركة المبدعين فيها من العالم كله.

Speech of the Arbitration Committee

Syrian Award for Cartoon

Some people were surprised , while others considered it a source of hope, when it was spoken for the first time of a Syrian Award for Cartoon, with the participation of Caricaturists from all over the world in a competition with topics that preoccupy them , which concern the whole world and the modern human being.

After surprise and anticipation came the practical steps in setting the conditions of the competition, its awards, the arbitration committee, then the process took off and the results were astonishing: more than 1340 cartoon works of Arab and foreign Caricaturists from 49 countries, including Syrian cartoonists, who contributed in the preparation works of the project.

Many of the participating works of art were worth the first award, whether it was for the main topic or for other topics. Therefore the arbitration committee had a hard task to choose who merited those awards. The committee exerted efforts with lot of objectivism and honesty , and equally looked at every one of the creators who decided to take part in this competition.

We have seriously moved forwards to meet those creative cartoonists. Syrian cartoonists had their part in playing a fruitful role in organizing the exhibition, that embraced the participants in the competition and the winners of its awards, comprehended in the book of the competition.

We are opening in Syria a new gate for Cartoon, with the hope and eagerness to see it repeated next years with larger participation of Caricaturists from all over the world.
