THEME: "Artist" ("Fine Arts Withstanding the Test of
Time")
Azerbaijan Cartoonists' Union announces International Cartoon
Contest "Molla Nasreddin – Azerbaijan 2010".
The III International Cartoon Contest is held by the support of
Azerbaijan Republic Culture and Tourism Ministry, Azerbaijan
Artists' Union and FECO (Federation of Cartoonists Organisations).
The Contest is organized on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of
the first cartoonist of Azerbaijan A.Azimzadeh and of the 70th
anniversary of Azerbaijan Artists’ Union’s foundation.
Terms of the Contest:
1. Subject: "Artist" ("Fine Arts Withstanding the Test of Time").
2. Contest is open to all professional and amateur cartoonists.
3. Deadline is March
01, 2010.
4. Only
original works are accepted.
5. Each cartoonist can submit a max of 2 cartoon works.
6. Format: min A4, max A3.
7. Cartoons that won places in other contests are not accepted.
8. On the back of each work the following information should appear:
first name, surname, address, telephone number and e-mail,
accompanied by the entry form and author's biography and photo.
Otherwise, cartoons will not be accepted.

10. The cartoons will be selected by International Jury.
Prizes:
I Place (1 person) Golden Medal + Diploma + Catalogue
II Place (2 persons) Silver Medal + Diploma + Catalogue
III Place (3 persons) Bronze Medal + Diploma + Catalogue
Special Awards (3 persons) + Diploma + Catalogue
